I'm working in a large US retailer ($15 Billions) and I'm based in Europe. I'm an IT auditor for europe reporting to the Internal Audit Director Europe, and my peers (3 IT auditors) are also reporting to the IA Director NA.
We tried without success (up to now) to have a dedicated IT Audit structure with an IT Audit Director reporting directly to the CCO.
What would be the deciding factors to convince our CCO that an IT Audit Director position is needed?
Thanks in advance
